At CPD Professionals, we’re proud to maintain high standards for training providers. Our accreditation criteria ensure that learners receive high-quality, trusted training that meets UK and international expectations.
All training providers applying for CPD accreditation must meet the following standards:
Course Content
Courses must be structured with clear learning outcomes and measurable objectives.
Content should be accurate, relevant, and professionally written.
Manuals and materials must reflect up-to-date industry knowledge.
Trainer Qualifications
Trainers must be qualified in both their subject area and in teaching/assessing (e.g. AET, Cert Ed).
Content should be accurate, relevant, and professionally written.
Course Delivery
Delivery must be engaging, learner-centred, and clearly timetabled.
Online courses must include tutor support and be accessible via secure platforms.
Duration of each course must be clearly stated (hours/days).
Assessment & Feedback
Learners must be assessed appropriately (e.g. practical demonstrations, tests, written work).
There must be a clear system in place for learner feedback and support.
Course Content
Certificates must be issued upon successful completion of the course.
Records of learner progress and assessments must be securely stored for a minimum of three years.
Policies & Compliance
Courses must be structured with clear learning outcomes and measurable objectives.
Proof of public liability insurance and safeguarding policies (if relevant) must be provided.
Branding & Marketing
The CPD Professionals name or logo must not be misused.
Marketing materials must accurately represent course content and trainer qualifications.
